Google Tez adds bill payment features

You can now pay all your bills with the Google Tez app after Google has added support for BBPS. You can get reminded when your bills are due and directly pay them on the app itself. The app will support all billers who’ve partnered with BBPS.

NPCI says WhatsApp will meet all guidelines before public launch

WhatsApp has recently been in the limelight after launching peer to peer payments on their app. The service has received flak for not following guidelines and the NPCI responded to the allegations by saying that the app is doing a small beta rollout and will follow all guidelines before the public launch.
